It is time to set your specific training heart zones. This is easy to do now that you have an estimate of your maximum heart rate. Each heart zone is 10% of your maximum heart rate. A zone is a range of heartbeats (zone) and is set in the number of beats per minute that your heart contracts. Determine your heart zones based on your individual maximum heart rate:
