TODAY IS A REST DAY. Rest is a key ingredient in any exercise program, it allows your body to recover from the exercise and build itself stronger. As you begin this exercise program, look at the world around you as opportunities for movement. Park your car in the farthest parking spot from your office or destination and walk, or better yet, walk or bike to work or to do errands. Take the stairs at every opportunity. Walk the children to school. Play outdoor games with your children as often as possible. You'll be amazed at the number of times in a day you can do "mini" workout and all of these add up to improved fitness.
