Day 021 - No gain with pain
While there is some discomfort associated with strength training, you should never try to "work through" a sharp pain.

Tip of the Day:
The old adage "no pain, no gain" is misleading. While exercise puts a definite and necessary stress on your body, there's a difference between muscular discomfort and agony. Some discomfort is normal, but if you ever feel a sharp pain or twinge, stop whatever you're doing immediately. If you suffer from a pre-existing injury, or fear that you might have hurt yourself, seek medical attention and avoid exercising that muscle group.
