Day 003 - Rest Day Zone 1-2

Start every weekly training cycle with a rest day. You will also have an Active Rest Day between sessions during the week. You can begin your training week on any day you choose so be flexible and make this work for you.

Today is your REST DAY. Rest days are important to the progress of your training so even if don't feel like you need a rest day take it just the same. Make your rest days consistent every week. In this Periodized training program every 4th week will be a rest week with several days of low-key training and some extra time off the bike. Use these rest weeks to your advantage. After 3 weeks of structured training you will need the rest.
