Day 037 - Quality cardio time

Cardio of choice: WU 5 min; vary pace/incline every 5 min for 60 min (or longer;) CD 5 min and stretch.        Training via ActiveMail

FOR TODAY'S CARDIO, LET'S SPEND OVER AN HOUR OF QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR FAVORITE MACHINE. Or, if you have a favorite activity/class that you can't bear starting your workout week without, do that instead. Otherwise, pick your poison: will it be the TREADMILL? The GAUNTLET? Or perhaps the ROWER? You can choose any one of the machines that you've trained on over the last few weeks. After a 5 minute warm-up, begin alternating your pace; try five minutes at top speed, then slow it down for five minutes. If you're using a machine like the gauntlet or the bike, choose the "hill" program. Continue varying your pace and the incline (if possible) every five minutes for 60 minutes (or longer, if you feel up to the challenge.) Cool down for 5 minutes, and treat yourself to a lengthy stretch.
