Proper form doesn't just mean having all of your body parts in the proper position. It's equally important to lift the weights slowly and with control, never using momentum to squeeze out a few more reps. Lifting with a smooth, fluid motion will protect you against injury and will guarantee those long, slender muscles that you're working towards. So no matter what exercise you're doing, keep it smooth and steady.
