Tip of the Day:
WHILE THERE ARE DEFINITE BENEFITS TO FOLLOWING A SET WORKOUT PROGRAM, IT IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO VARY YOUR WORKOUTS. Some people do it seasonally, some when the whim strikes them; but every athlete agrees that the key to staying motivated is changing your program regularly. For example, I always run twice a week, but in the winter I take kickboxing, in the summertime I mountain bike, and whenever I feel like I need a change, I start swimming again. This applies to your strength training program as well. As you've probably already noticed, although we're doing the same exercises, they're never in exactly the same order, and there are always slight variations. This way, you'll keep yourself interested, and your body won't adapt to a set routine.
