Day 006 - You're never too old!

Day 4: Rest Day        Training via ActiveMail

WEEK 1, Day 4: Day off. Use today to do some strength work. Your midsection (also referred to as your "core") is the center of all your power. Strengthen it with 40-50 situps of various types. Incorporate abdominal work into your training sessions 2 or 3 days each week. When you first start any fitness training program you may experience "athletic shock," the realization that you may have lost some of the physical vibrancy of your youth. It will take time for you to return to the athleticism of your younger days, but we guarantee that if you stick with your training, you will return to that level and probably even excel beyond it. One good way to stay motivated is to track your progress by keeping a training log. On a day-to-day basis you may not feel like you're improving, but you'll realize how far you've come when you go back and re-read your first 1-2 weeks' worth of entries!
