TODAY IS A PLAY DAY! Get out there and try something new.



Training tip: Outdoor fitness is a terrific way to blur the lines between workouts and recreation that's because there's the added element of play that naturally occurs outdoors. What's more, fill your lungs with fresh air and you'll get more than just oxygen circulating through your system. We humans are naturally drawn to beaches, waterfalls, and forests, places where the atmosphere is rich in negative ions. Negative ions have a positive effect on our neurotransmitters, leaving us feeling alert, refreshed and in a more happy and positive state.



Today, try something new and different from what you normally do during the week. For example, head to a beach, lake or stream and take a brisk walk, run your dog or fly a kite along the water's edge.
