Stand up and push your chair back out of the way. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides. Gently roll your head clockwise in a 360-degree circle. Keep your neck muscles relaxed and don't force your head too far to the side—let comfort be your guide. It should take 5-10 seconds to complete one circle. Don't rush. Complete three circles, then do three more counter-clockwise, again focusing on relaxation.

Combine neck circles with shoulder shrugs. Do three clockwise circles (as above) then raise your shoulders toward your ears, hold 5 seconds and relax. Perform three counter-clockwise circles and repeat the shoulder shrug.
